Create Controls without window?

Is there a way to create Controls without a window parent?

OR

Is there a way to only render the Control and have the window hidden?

That would be most useful as I am drawing a console with textinput.

thanks!

Did you look at the demo application? It displays two buttons without any window.

In the Nuclex UI architecture, everything is a control. Any control can become a child to any other control. Windows just happen to be controls that look like you expect them to and move around when you hold down the mouse button in their client area.

This does allow for some pretty silly combinations, like a window inside a button :)

Sweeeeeet :D

I found a way to make a console work using a InputManager directly :)

Since I really only needed the regional keyboard support  for that part.

I looked at the demos, but it took me some time to understand the structure!

anyways thanks for the info !
