User Interface Change Font for default renderer

Sep 7, 2011 at 2:59 PM

I've searched through the demos and cannot figure out how to change the font used by the default skin/renderer.

I understand I can create my own rendering code, the default is fine but I need to use a smaller font.

The library has worked perfectly so far and is very easy to use.

Thanks.

The font for the default skin is specific in the default theme XML file (which is contained in Nuclex.UserInterface.dll as an embedded resource).

The easiest way to change it would probably be to download the framework sources, create a copy of Nuclex.UserInterface\Resources\Skins\Suave\Suave.skin.xml and modify that one.

To load your customized skin, just assign a new IGuiVisualizer to the GuiManager's "Visualizer" property (constructed via the FlatGuiVisualizer.FromFile() or FlatGuiVisualizer.FromResource() methods).
